The Goal
The goal of this platform is to allow educators and parents to connect regarding kindergarten and 1st to 12th-grade students.
My Role
My work as a user experience consultant was to audit the current website and provide suggestions to improve the overall user experience and generate new ideas for revenue streams.

Website Audit
Define brand identity, develop a secondary colour palette and include imagery of real people.
Include a “review” section.
Address all communication of the website directly to the main users – educators and parents.
Ask the user if they want to sign up as an educator or
a parent at the beginning of the onboarding.Eliminate a step from the onboarding process by requesting users to add their email address, and phone number and create their password on the same screen.
Create a marketplace on the parent portal.
Allow parents to search for a teacher by name, by subject or by criteria.
Integrate a messenger feature to keep all communications between parents and educators within the platform.
Allow users to sync calendars to their phones.
Encourage users to create user profiles by using prompt text.
